You would have to be able to read Portuguese to get recipes in Brazilian web sites, so I suggest two sites about Brazilian food that are in English.
www.maria-brazil.org/brazilian_recipes... -
www.cookbrazil.com
Good luck

I lived there last year and this book was the best! I even met the author in Ipanema. Go to his website....rioforpartiers.com and click the English banner...His book - Rio For Partiers is great! It is an insiders guide and has a whole section of the foods and drinks. Even if you are not a "partier" this book is great - it explains the culture with humor and lots of pictures. I think you can also get the book from Amazon.com...by the way - my favorite thing was Pingo candy.

Like US Brazil is a very large country. But the difference is that Brazilian culture changes very much from place to place, so it is hard to say all Brazilian typical dishes. You may find good photos of typical Brazilian food at http://www.rio-online.com/index.php?id=464&L=5. Besides, if you want to make some other searches, you can go through www.cade.com.br or www.radaruol.com.br and type "comidas brasileiras, fotos". Good luck and enjoy your meal!
