Where is good to visit in the Pantanal in Brazil?
I am travelling there in 2 days time and don't want to waste time visiting loads of places when one will do.
I hope you read this before boarding. I grew up in Brazil and I visited the Pantanal. First, you should try to go there in July or August. That is when the flood waters lower, the alligators get out of the mud to eat the dying fish and the wild birds flock to pick up fish. In February you will get some rain there. There are 17 bridges on the way to the famous country restaurant on the alligator farm. Those are bad bridges so all have to get out the bus before it goes over each brigdge. You should eat alligator meat (the tail) and pirana soup. Have insect repelent - you'll see crowds of them. Have a good photo camera and be ready for wild times.
