Brasil is a beautiful country - I have a very high opinion of many aspects of Brasil. I lived in Brasil (Sao Paulo, Campinas, Ribeirao Preto, Jacarei) for a few years. I love the people and have many friends that I consider to be family. I love the music, the food, futebol, the culture. There is a vibrancy to life. As is the case with most, the more you know and are familiar with, the better your appreciation.

There are some aspects, however, that I find troubling...crime and corruption come to mind.

I would, if the opportunity were right, serious consider living in Brasil again, at least for a period of time.

beaches, rainforest, beautiful girls but with huge income gap between rich and the poor and too much crime and violence. I'm from Canada

Brazil is beautiful. With really nice people and a great nightlife.

I read there is alot of crime in a few areas, but that overall, it is a fantastic country to visit or live in.
