You mean a visa? if so it's the normal visa fee based on what your country charges of Brazilian citizens...
stop being so cheap, if you can afford to go to Brazil you can pay for the stupid visa

Because brazilians need to pay to get into USA.

I'm danish and I didn't have to pay an entrance tax, because we don't charge the brazilians

sharda
because Brazil has the worst politicians

I'm assuming you're from the United States. Brazil (and now Bolivia and Chile) charges what's called a "reciprocity fee." When people from most non-European countries want to come to the USA, they have to apply for a visa. The application costs around $100 and they are NOT guaranteed to be approved. As a way of protesting this, some countries have set up this entry tax, landing fee, reciprocity fee, etc. where Americans are charged the same amount to enter X country (in this case, Brazil) as citizens of X would be charged to apply for a visa to get to America.

International relations are based on reciprocity, so you can expect to receive from Brazilian immigration officers the exact same treatment Brazilians receive in your country.

I am kidding, nobody will treat you badly in Brazil. Not even close to the way Brazilians are treated on the rich countries...

One thing I can tell you: Brazil worths the extra money for the visa.

Brazilians are one of the most taxed people's on earth. I think only the Danish pay more taxes than the Brazilians. Funnily enough though I have never had to pay an entry tax when entering Brazil, bu then i'm not an American & don't have to have a retina scan yet either.
