It depends on the woman involved. Not every woman from a poor country is dying to come to the States. |

Analista has answered very well your question. And I just want to add that I'm a Brazilian citizen and a law graduate who has married an American citizen on my birthday on 2006 and will celebrate our anniversary on the coming march 28th....and I will celebrate my birthday as well. We married because we love each other.
And we are planning to move to Brazil as soon as he can drop his job; Our life quality can be far much better in Brazil, then in the USA. Over there I own two apartment and one house. Even though, my husband and I both come from Jewish background; it's worth remembering that he's an American and I'm a Brazilian, yet ,we are together by the power of Love ! |

First: Brazil is not a poor country. See the CIA's factbook.
Second: Brazilian women are not looking for a green card. There are many sucessfull women including executives, business-oriented, artists, etc. which has a "dream life" for many women from USA. Brazilian middle class women are not asking for for money or requesting for food, dude. Even the poor.
Well, if you are looking for a serious woman, you must search for her by the right way, and it includes some important points:
1- Don't look for a stereotype like a "latin babe", "chica caliente" or anyother. Remember that they are brazilians. Not mexicans, cubans, etc.
2- Don't speak in spanish, man!!!
3- Look for a woman like you really wish. Not a brazilian type (depending what you imagine as a brazilian) but the girl that you have passed your life dreamming about her.If se must be blond with blue eyes, finds one thus and not, a black, mestizo or tanned brunette girl to say to your mother and friends "See. This is my Latin woman, a typical brazilian. Is not sexy and exotic?
4- Pay special attention at divorced women, with college degree, between 30-40 y. o. Even, with a child. They are the best because are not hoping a prince and, they are independent, in general.
5- Don't try to get a woman saying: "Hello! I'm american". Most of them may tell you "Damm it! I'm so american like you". And, don't forget: you are from the country that invades Iraq and attack muslim nations.
Many other brazilain women may not have affection for U.S.A....
At last, acts as if tou would saying with women from your contry (the green Brazilians are not ETs and ciclopes), except by the difference of that the women from here -Brazil - will not call the police to arrest you for the reason you have passed your hand in your child's head or for what you have made sex on the wrong side of the bed... |

A Brazilian woman could be in love for a foreign. Don't you think? Some American men have qualities most Brazilian men don't have. For example: Brazilian men usually are very womanizer. But you should know the interest of your Brazilian. |

Depends who , some are just interest in that. But real love happens. If she really loves you she would live with you anywhere she doesn't have to come to america.
And take from a brazilian girl the life there is not so different from here. Like for me it doesn't matter live here or there. |

Why not? I am sure there are some brazil woman that just want to come to the states for a better life, but not all. Also to assume that Brazil is a poor country could be a huge misconception. Brazil's GDP is in the top 15 in the world and by 2025 projected to be in the Top 5.
I myself am happily engaged to a Brazilian woman, and I have found nothing but honesty, truth, and respect.
Might want to ask yourself What type of life does she have in Brazil? What social class is she a part of? How is her family? Do they support her in her decisions? Does she live in a favella?
But most of all ask your heart what is it saying? |
