Would it be hard for an American to obtain employment?

I am aware that the world is going through an economic crisis and job markets are tough all over. Would it be hard to land a job in B.H. if you were an American who isn't fluent in Portuguese? What industries are prevalent in that area anyways?

Please be nice..I am just asking a quesiton (people tend to be when you ask such a thing...I wouldn't be rude to someone asking me about my region of California).

Thanks!

In my opinion São Paulo is Better for you.
It is necessary to know your professional qualification. Belo Horizonte is the capital of the State of Minas Gerais is an administrative city, but in the State there is several Industry mainly elaborates of ore extraction, gold and iron. also elaborates automobile it is very expressive. Depending on your professional qualification would not be difficult to get a job, as larger degree of larger culture will be the chance of getting a job. And as for not to know to speak Portuguese, living for here soon you will learn.
Good luck.
