Alberta or Ontario to move to?

Which province would be best to move to?
For jobs and for raising a family?

Honestly, I'm from Ontario and love it here. I would rather live here than Alberta, because this is where I grew up, but you would probably do better in Alberta. They have tons of jobs out there, including high-paying ones. The cost of living is higher, but that is offset by the fact that you tend to get paid better.

For raising a family then go for Ontario because there you will have far more facilities like a more advance health service structure, more universities and colleges for your children, a more established structure of community services and social networking.

I am also a Canadian immigrant and I will say that jobs are available in Ontario but you might have to wait a bit and probably you also have to upgrade yourself by doing courses, community work etc. to get a good job.

As in Alberta then currently its a place where every thing is in developing phase so jobs might be available easily as compare to Ontario but you also have to think about your family.

Ontario because is kind of nice and quite and is a big place so there are more chances to get a job and your family you will see snow if they haven't seen it.

Ontario , I live here its great plus alberta isnt very populated and not much too do I used to live there so glad I moved to ontario I suggest Simcoe Ontario as a city its great

I would say for job Alberta, but for living Toronto, Ontario is the best fun place to live. the cost of rent in Toronto is high!

I don't know about Ontario, but Alberta is great. You have to have a job before you get here though. It can be expensive, but prices are falling a little. Red Deer or anywhere in Central Alberta is great to raise a family. google it. Good luck.

mistyforestcreek
i heard Ontario has alot of construction business going on. not to sure.

but ontario is beautiful country.

i wanna go there. :D

My family just visited some of our friends in Ontario, and they have such a busy city!! Our friend is a therapist, and he is very rich. I don't know about Alberta, but as for Ontario, my family loved it!!

ALBERTA!!!! well depends if you want to live in rural areeas or like the city but if it were city, i'd definitly say alberta because its easier for traffic and things like that since places in ontario like Toronto are super duper crowded.

I've never been to Ontario, I live in BC, I tried moving to Fort McMurray, AB in March but I hated Alberta more then you can imagine so I moved back to good ol' BC after 2 weeks. Alberta is dirty and way too flat

Well Ontario is falling on hard times especially if you want a job in the manufacturing sector. Alberta would be better for the job market, but the cost of living is higher.

07Shorty
well i live 15 minutes away from ontario and I love it!!!
You should move there!!

Great for work and Family!!

good Luck
