I think that alot of americans dont know the Canadian one, but So many Candians know the american one! WHats up with this?!

p.s please be respectful. This is NOT an opportunity to say anything bad about Canada, and If you do, you will likely be reported.
Additional Details
O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee

Why shouldn't I report you? Why are you targeting Americans? Why aren't you asking the British if they know the Canadian national anthenm.

I know the Canadian anthem. I actually like it more than the American one. As a song, ya know? I know it because when the Blue Jays come play baseball with the Orioles in Baltimore, they always sing O Canada. It's a great credit to your nation to have such a beautiful song as your anthem.

I know most of it, but I have lived in Michigan for all of my life so... close.

I think typically, if you follow sports (other than the NFL), they may know of the "Oh Canada" as we do with the US anthem.

Honestly though, why would Americans know the Canadian National Anthem. I wouldn't expect them to really.

Oh, and to the answer above me (harry k), this person is probaby asking Americans because the two countries are attached. Canada is not in close quarters to the UK.

Oh Canada But I am Canadain so. . .

Would you like us more if we knew your Anthem?

For sure those crazy hockey fans in the U.S. who go to the games frequently, whenever a Canadian team is in town, they know your anthem. And I guess those who go to baseball games in the AL East, when Toronto comes to town, they may know it. Also any NBA fan who goes to home games for any team in the Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference when the Raptors come to town, knows it as well. I probably know more of it than I'm leading on, but only because I'm a Phoenix Suns fan, and anytime we go to Toronto, it's Nash country, and they make a big deal out of it.

I know the last words "Oh Canada, we stand on guard for thee!"

It's a good anthem, even if I don't know all the words.

Are you sure that most Canadians know every word to the Star Spangled Banner? I don't think all Americans know it, although most know most of it. It's long, has a lot of words, and isn't the easiest song to sing. You probably know more of it than we know of your anthem, but all of it? Somehow I doubt that.

but in the USA we only learn ours
