Oh yeah. We get temperatures as hot as the southern US in the summer. Literally, I have travelled to Vegas and came home to hotter weather than there was when we were there. Plus, we tend to have a lot of humidity, which makes it feel even hotter. From mid-May to the end of August, the temperatures range from around 20-40 degrees (70-100 Fahrenheit) in the southern areas of Canada. However, we really deal with extremes. Our winters are what we tend to complain about.

Dear Bouncing:
That depends on where you go. Canada is a huge country and in some parts of the country, it's hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk (literally - it was done as a TV stunt and it worked) and in other places, you can ski on the glaciers in the middle of summer. So it all depends which part of that great country you choose. But it's all beautiful.

I don't know about the rest of Canada, but I know for sure the Prairies can get up to +42 degrees, and in BC it can get worse in the Southern parts. It gets gruelling.
like anything it depends on where you live. I've lived on all three coasts and generally speaking they were cooler than the interior of the country.
It may be generally stated that summers in Canada are usually between 20 C and 40 C depending on location.
Q&A
Yes.
And some of the people said it gets 42 degrees but I'm guessing you live in the USA so that is equal to about 108
kenoplayer
It sure is!!

Especially in July more than 35 C and humid, so the sweat you exude does not cool you down.
