I have a friend that has moved from Mexico to Canada since 2002 with his family and applied as refugees. They got denied in their first hearing, so they appealed, and got denied again I believe, and now they got a card from immigration saying that they have to go to an interview at the airport. Does that mean they're gonna leave that day?? Is there any chance for them to stay in Canada?? Im really worried about him.
interview at the airport i will never show up hell with that interview they r going to get deport im sorry.

Their refugee claim was denied twice. They used up their appeal and were denied, so yes- they will have to leave Canada. Sorry.

They would have been alerted if they were being forced to leave. They should call for more information; they have the right to know. Good luck.
Look on the bright side.
It appears that they may be deported but they should have been notified when they would have to leave. I doubt if they would be just put on a plane without their belongings etc. They should have hired a lawyer who specializes in immigration matters.

If the refugees have not committed crimes and their claims are true they are allowed to stay. If not, they will be sent back to where they came from.

I believe that that's the day they leave canada... they were denied twice.. so i doubt they can stay in canada..

Canada is just like the U.S. for immagration... Canada has less people and resourses to deal with and support immagrants so only those who have something to offer stay like scientists and skilled workers... That is why in the U.S. many people are 'illegal' immagrants. I am from Brasil. I was born there. We came to the USA and now I find that the U.S. is very loose compared to Canada on immagration. they check all minorities at the border! I got searched while my friends didn't because I have a better tan than the mounties.
