it's an overground train that goes quite fast (50 mph 80km /hr), the coolest thing is that it has no driver |

I ride it everyday its not to bad. a little dirty sometimes but the security is good. it gets a little gross at night time much more pleasant to ride in the day more transit cops less drunks and beggars |

I've been on it too many times in my life to count. It's usually pretty clean, and is pretty fast. On the downside, they keep raising fares, so it's getting so expensive to take it into the city, some people choose to drive and pay for parking. Part of the reason it is getting so expensive is that it's an honor system -- more often than not, there is no own checking fares. Also, whenever the skytrain "goes down" -- which does every so often (sometimes caused by people jumping in front of trains) it causes transit chaos in the entire lower mainland. |
