You will love it! You should definitely go on the Maid of the Mist cruise when you visit Niagara Falls. The falls are so incredible and awe inspiring from seeing the massive roar of the falls. It's just magnificent. You won't be able to do another cruise like this. You're gonna get wet so go during the summer so that it's warm and you can dry off. If you want to do other tours, you should check out my source to see other Niagara Falls tours.

I live right near Niagara Falls, and surprisingly I went on the maid of the mist for the first time over the summer. It was cool ad I'm glad I finally got to go on it. It gives you a new perspective on the falls that you don't get when you are viewing it from the ground. You get a new appreciation of the falls, and how powerful it is. Yeah, I'd recommend it.

It's good. They drive into the mist and you get soaked but they give you a plastic poncho so your clothes mostly stay dry.

I took a tour around June. It was amazing and definitely worth the price. Be prepared get a waterproof camera with you.

In winter, I guess I'd rather stay home.

Hundreds of times.....at every possible time during its seasonal operations. You'll enjoy it, tourists always do. They give you a rain coat to wear, but you will still get soaked. I hope your camera is waterproof.
I have no idea what that guy who cited "lack of water" is talking about. At any given moment, there is 1.5 million gallons per second flowing over the Falls......

No, but I'm going July 2009, and I heard people get drenched but it's a great experience. Good Luck!

you need to get the timing right. Go in march/april when the snow in the mountains is melting then its well worth the cost, it's no that cheap.

Go in august you will be disappointed due to the lack of water.

Great place to celebrate a wedding anniversary but expect to get wet and probably cold.

Ian M

Reading below. You might get 1.5 million gallons per second but that the peak, like in march, you will not get that in August.
