All over Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. Small town rodeo's, ball tournaments, farmer's markets, curling. Trucks stopping in the middle of main street to chat with your neighbour. Mixed family farms, cattle ranchs, horse ranchs, grain farms. Kids bused to school who wait for the bus at the end of their driveways. Invitations to weddings, baby showers, wedding showers posted at the post office where people meet and chat at 11:00 every morning. The coffee crowd at the local cafe in the six room hotel which also houses the only bar and liquor store.
I live in one of these places. They are all over. Kitscoty Alberta. |

Come visit us, even our big cities, if you are looking for the ambiance in your question..
All our towns are about the same; but the very country look is only for special occasions, or in Alberta. |

Yes, I live in one. The only thing is not many people wear cowboy hats and boots, that is more like Calgary. Many people drive big pick ups, my husband included, but we hate country music. |

Just about every small town in Canada is full of pick up trucks - but so are the big cities. You might not find the hats and boots everywhere - not cowboy hats and boots, anyway. You will find lot of ball caps. |

There are any number of small towns in Alberta that fit that description. Acme is one that comes to mind. |
