Are Canadian voters eager for change? solid for Harper?

10 points to best answer from CANADIANS, please!: are you having a national referendum on the election and on environmental approaches to climate change and so forth today (Oct. 14) - - thanks for stating how you view this day in your political/national history!

I think Harper will get in with a minority government. Same ol' same old. Don't know who the opposition will be, but I would like to see the Green Party get in, which is why I voted for them. I think with the world financial markets in turmoil, Canadians will vote for Harper the Economist and in two years or so we'll be back for another federal election until a majority wins.

Well honestly when it comes to Dion and Harper, they are just as bad as each other. The best thing for the country would be another minority government, heaven help us if Harper gets a majority.

I will be voting NDP, as I always do, as they are the best suited for my area. Would I want them in complete control of this country? That is an entirely different question. I guess I can be lumped into the ABC group, but I still really have a strong dislike for Dion, almost as much as my dislike for Harper. So, NDP will get my vote again, and hopefully enough people vote independent, Green, NDP or Bloc to nix out anyone ending up with a majority.

MasterPython
They probably want change but there are three left wing parties and the BLOC to slip the lefty vote so we will probably get another Conservative minority.

They are all nitwits. Harper is too right-wing and all the others are bound to special-interest immigrant groups who want to mass import disease-infected, old, illiterate people in large groups from their tribes and extended families with no desire to learn the language and integrate and then force us to ban our religions while endlessly accommodating theirs. So our culture is thrown out the window to please immigrants who haven't even come here yet and can get our citizenship and then leave and we worry about THEIR RIGHTS and not people who live here. Then they will do nothing about poverty, the economy, high taxes and the environment in this country. Law and order? In Canada, that is a joke. At least where serious crime is concerned. A police officer would prefer to arrest a topless woman on a beach, a guy with a beer in a park, a festive attendee camping out on parkland, someone with small amounts of pot and a soccer mom who speeds slightly through the suburbs. After all they spend more time ticketing parked cars than they do worrying about drug users, prostitutes and violent offenders. Strange.

I have nothing against women's rights and gay civil rights but get tired of hearing solely about those issues with Dion running on a feminist agenda I get the idea but let's hear about general issues as well. The Afghanistan mission is a failure and shouldn't have occurred in the first place. Where is this bin Laden character to begin with? Is he hiding out in a cave with coca cola and bongo drums, smoking a tobacco pipe? Puhlease....and we deal with Saudi Arabia. Who knows--he might be flipping burgers at Jack in the Box in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Anyway, I figure I will vote Green.

I'm 100% Liberal.

NDP!! All the way!!
