Are Canadians like Eskimos? Just curious. We're planning a trip to Montreal soon.?
We're not like Eskimos, we ARE Eskimos. All of us. Actually, the correct term is Inuit. Please make sure you have the following items:
- tire chains
- rifle (to shoot polar bears that bang on your hotel door)
- parka
- touque
- mittens
- warm boots
- skis (cross-country) or snow shoes
Ooops and excusez-moi. There aren't any Canadians in Montreal. They separated from Canada in 1967 when Charles de Gaulle came over from the "old country" and declared "Vive le Quebec libre."

There are some differences. Most people that live in cities don't use dogsleds to go to work or to school. Raw blubber is on many menus, but if you ask the waiter nicely they will cook it for you so you don't have to eat it raw.

Canada is a very civilized place. It feels less frenzied than the states. I love Montreal, with its strong French flavor. Enjoy your trip.

Please don't act like an idiot and insult the locals while you are there. You are a representative of our country.

Ha ha ha... you obviously have to be an American if you are asking that question. Look it up on google.
