Yes, beavers are found in all provinces. They are found all the way north to the mouths of the MacKenzie and Coppermine rivers that empty into the Arctic Ocean where they thrive on shrubs. To the west coast of British Columbia and its islands, and as far east as Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. They are very adaptable creatures, they can create and transform their environment to suite their needs. They can swim in salt water to colonize nearby islands.
Canadian beaver had also been introduced into parts of Europe like Germany, Austria and Poland.

Everywhere but PEI, NFL (they are in Labrador though), Vancouver Island, Baffin island and above the arctic circle - they need running water to survive and make their ponds. They're in a lot of states too, FYI. |
