Are there any beaches in or near toronto?

Toronto is located on the shores of Lake Ontario, so YES we do have beaches.

Lake Ontario is a VERY deep lake, more than 700 feet deep at the centre, and it is about 175 miles long and about 55 miles across, so it is COLD all year, even in the middle of the summer.

So, you may want to swim in one of the 66 public swimming pools that we have in Toronto, instead. They are FREE.

Of course! There's an area called "The Beaches" in Toronto. Beautiful, area with boardwalks, docks, beach volleyball, shops, restaurants, bars, etc. There's even a fantastic view of downtown Toronto (especially the CN Tower!) Check it out on google maps. Hope this helped! (:

There are but you can't always swim in them because the water can be really cold and the pollution levels can be too high.

Well, considering Toronto is surrounded by lake Onatrio, i think their would be a beach somewhere, but I am just thinking. I really liek this one beach it is near the Arabian sea, is that close enough for you!!!! Sorry but stupid question, stupid answer. Oh by the way India is only a couple hours a way, just kidding more than that. Enjoy the flight, or swim!!!
