Vampire Knight

Are there any good provincial or national parks near Toronto other than Algonquin?

That are scenic?

Sand banks, Point Peelee (I don't know where exactly that is but it's closer than Algonquin and it's pretty in the summer)
Arrowhead provincial park (it's in the north end of Huntsville, Muskoka) There's one near Meaford that's supposed to be very nice.

But nothing beats a sunrise from the view of a canoe in the middle of a lake in Algonquin Park.

Long Point - amazing sand banks

Killarney Park - amazing hike over granite hills with breathtaking panoramical views (around Thanksgiving), canoe trips during summer

Awenda Park - amazing beaches, warm clean water

Bruce Peninsula (and Bruce Trail in general) - amazing hiking

Plenty of spaces! "Yours to Discover" - as an Ontario plates say

Killbear Park just north of Parry Sound is the best in the province

Try the Grand River Conservation Authority. They have a good deal of parks that are very nice and offer lots of great activities.

Elora Gorge has a long river you are able to take an inner tube down. There are a few rapids along the way, so there is a bit of a risk, but it is a lot of fun.
