Are you Canadian from a province besides Québec? Do you speak French fluently?

I'm from Ontario, and personally, I wouldn't say i speak it fluently, but i can still understand and speak it okay, so I guess it's not horrible either...

but really I think it really depends on the person, as to whether or not they choose to continue taking French after Grade 9(which is when it stops being mandatory), or if you're in a specialized French Immersion Program at school.

I'm from New Brunswick, east of Quebec, and the only true bilingual province(N.B.) in Canada. I speak only English and very little french. Outside Quebec, you can get along quite nicely if you don't speak french and probably the same inside Quebec.

I'm from Manitoba and am fluent in both English and French.
I have been to Quebec and have not had any problems using English anywhere.

I'm from Newfoundland. I have a working knowledge of the French language. My younger sister and older brother went through french immersion in Junior high school. They are quite fluent.
