Yes, Quebec separation would be good. They can then quite blaming all of their problems on other and the rest of Canada can quite sending them all of our tax money and federal spending. Quebec separatists make me laugh though Quebec has the right to self determination but groups within Quebec do not, as Quebec is indivisible. A seperate quebec would be a strip along the St Lawerence. |

It would make me sad if it happened, as the slogan goes: "My Canada includes Québec".
I don't think it would be good for either Canada or Québec. Québec gets a ton of money from the federal Government, plus - who's going to play net? Come on - we need your goalies!!! At least stay till 2010 or please leave Martin Brodeur, Roberto Luongo & Marc-André Fleury behind. |

Separation would be too costly. As it is almost all large companies have moved their headquarters to Toronto just in case this happens. It's only a matter of time before all industries move away. Countless industries have closed since this debate has started in 1980's.
The Federal government provides alot of money for social programs including Medicare. What would Québec do without this cash? Tax it's citizens, again and again? No thanks!
I would move if this becomes a reality. |

A big no. And for DJ: I'm also an Ontarian, so don't try to speak for our province. The separation of Québec would encourage the really breakway province: Alberta, and at the end the US would be the winner (something Alberta would love seeing happening). It's good to see that separatism is taking the back seat right now in Québec. Currently only Alberta harbours such sentiments and they would love to see Québec calling another referendum. |

France got nothing to do with Quebec ! and Quebec is is a state like all states in canada. Language or not All Canadians speak a minimum of two languages at Home !
The independant myth of vive le quebec libre came from Charles De Gaul ! some were taken by this, yet, the racists/or call them seperatistes in Quebec are still bringing Montreal's economy down with this seperation issue!
There was a referendum and Quebec voted : NO.
