If you were to be blindfolded, placed on a plane and flown around for hours so that you didn't have a clue where you are or where you were going...if the plane landed in Canada and you were dropped off in the middle of a city....when the blindfold was removed you wouldn't be able to tell that you were outside of the US except for the fact that the city was cleaner, the air was cleaner, there was no gun shots being fired, the people were more polite and the economy was better.

Didn't you know that the children under the age of 13 are not permitted to ask or answer questions on Yahoo! Answers???? nor establish communication with other Yahoo! Answers users???? Oh and your question.Well I have to admit that this is the most dumbest question I've ever heard.I strongly advice you to think twice before asking such weirdo questions on here.I am not going to waste my time trying to explain to you what Canadians do look like and / or who they are.Just google it and you'll find out by yourself.

I prefer the term "Inuit" thanks

Tracy M
Wow....think you need to hit the books and study harder otherwise you are going to fail that geography test!!

sk.bismillah491
NO! The ones that live up north are sometimes called eskimos but they prefer inuit. eskimo means eaters of raw meat and inuit means the people. so to answer your question, no not all canadians are eskimo. do some research if you're still not sure, eh!

lol, this is a joke right.

Yikes! You have a lot to learn! You also have no idea how insulting it is for us Canadians to have to read a question like this!
You know I'm not even going to answer this question but what I am going to tell you is that you are an idiot and that you had better smarten up real quick!

Like, no. But many Eskimos, or Inuit, as your Geography book calls them, are Canadians.

kenoplayer
No. We do have a national football team called the Edmonton Eskimos. Other than that, no, we aren't like Eskimos.

Yes- we all live in igloos, eat whale blubber, and drive snowmobiles.

To answer your question, read your textbook. You'll find the answers in there. Assuming, of course, you're not illiterate.

That's probabely the simplest question on the test...good luck! But I don't think you'll pass.

And to answer your question yeeeahhh all Canadians are Eskimos, but we have computers and spend our time on Y/A instead of hunting for food...Our cultures are starving but Y/A is soooo Adicting

No.

Most Eskimos (called Inuit in Canada) live in north, most notably the territory of Nunuvat - which is majority Inuit. It was created out of the eastern portion of the Northwest Territories (mostly, the old districts of Franklin and Keewatin) to establish an Inuit territory.

There are also Inuit in nothern Quebec, and Yukon and the Northwest Territories.

In America - they are called Eskimos (as many live in Alaska). In Canada "Eskimo" is sometimes considered perojative. The preferred term in Inuit - which in their language means "Our people" rather than "Eskimo" which means "eater of raw meat."

You might be interested to know that Eskimos no longer live in Igloos. Since the 1940's and 1950's they've lived in permanent settlements with ordinary houses and services. Most Canadian children (judging from myself when I went to school) think Eskimo's live in Igloos - just like many Americans think all Canadians live in igloos.

Mark B
I don't believe they are.

I'm Canadian, and I'm not like an eskimo. Mostly the ppl that live up north live like "eskimos" but more like the natives. I live in a city in canada we drive cars, go to school, live in houses, eat a variety of foods and go to places like the malls and the movies all the time....you should do some research....
