Beautiful places in Canada?

I plan on moving to Canada within the next 2 to 3 years. Problem is, I don't know where abouts to move. I love lots of snow and cold weather and love to snowboard. I want to be a professional golfer and a pilot. Maybe somewhere that I could get a job flying small aircraft for scenic tours. A place with golf courses would be great too. Must have views of mountains. I really love nature so somewhere with a lot of natural beauty. I enjoy being by myself most the time so no where that there are too many people, but close enough to a decent city. I like the looks of Whistler, B.C. but I just thought I would ask for any better suggestions. Anyone who knows of my imaginary dream land? This would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

You have answered your own question as I would have. You want the snow boarding you would do best near Whistler or Banff, Alberta. Banff is near Calgary, so there is a nearby city. Cold it can be, so golfing season is shorter.
Same goes with Maritimes, long winter, but fewer great slopes. Fewer people in some of the areas also.
You want to really get secluded, try Newfoundland. Marble Mountain, near Corner Brook is great. No big cities nearby though, and you are on an island that requires a ferry to get your vehicle to. But, you will have the cold and snow. Piloting would make this a little easier.
Hard to beat the Whistler area, though. Grouse Mountain or Cypress are both great for fresh snowfall. It is real easy to find better weather down the mountain for the golfing, but gets quite populated around Vancouver. I prefer Nanaimo, on the East shore of Vancouver Island. It is a short ferry ride, but there are a lot of golfing days in this area.

You could try somewhere in Vancouver Island. Like maybe Nanaimo, Comox, or Courtnay. Mt. Washington is close to all these cities, if you want to snowboard. And Whistler is about a ferry ride and a drive away. However, Vancouver Island doesn't get very cold but it snows sometimes. However, it is very nature-y. There is a lot of nature to see there. And there is a lot of scenic plane tours on the island. There also seems to be a variety of golf courses on the island.

You might want to have a look at Calgary, Alberta. It's pretty much as you described, with ski hills and golf and breathtaking mountain views. There's hiking, camping, fishing, mountain biking, the Stampede, festivals, theater, concerts and pretty much anything else you could want. I live in a rural area about twenty minutes outside of the Calgary city limits. It's right on a wildlife corridor with a full view of the Rocky Mountains. I'm close enough to the city for shopping, movies, restaurants, libraries and gyms, but far enough to be out of the crunch of the city. Whistler is okay, but it's a tourist town, so it's overly trendy, expensive and seasonal.

Canmore, AB, Anywhere near Pentiction or Kelowna C... OR.

I would choose Nelson, BC.

Look up all of them and then see if you like.

Alberta..., maybe Vancouver, BC
