Canada is a great place to go.

TORONTO, ONTARIO: Toronto is the city with the largest population in Canada. There are many thing to do in and aound Toronto. You can visit the top of the CN Tower, the world's tallest building standing at 553m (1815 ft.). You can see a spectacular view of the entire city. You can also visit Canada's Wonderland for rides and other attractions, there is also a water park. If you decide to go to Toronto, you can rent a car and drive out to Niagara Falls, which is absolutly beautiful. It is about a two hour drive from Toronto.
GETTING AROUND: Toronto- Subway, Bus, Shuttle Bus, Walking
Niagara- Walking, car

ST. JOHN'S, NEWFOUNDLAND: So if you are really interested in the nightlife, St. John's is a great place to go. Check out this website for information on George Street, the best place for nightlife. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Street,_St._John's
Besides the nightlife there are many other things to do in St. John's. You can drive out to Cape Spear, the most easterly point in North America, or drive to the top of Signal Hill to see the Cabot Tower and take some great pictures.
Go here for more things to do in St. John's: http://www.stjohns.ca/visitors/index.jsp
GETTING AROUND: Rent a Car, Bus, Taxi

Other great cities in Canada:
Quebec City, Quebec: http://www.quebecregion.com/e/
Montreal, Quebec: http://www.tourisme-montreal.org/B2C/00/default.asp
Ottawa, Ontario: http://www.ottawatourism.ca/
Edmonton, Alberta: http://www.edmonton.com/tourism/portal.asp?page=4
Banff, Alberta: http://www.banfflakelouise.com/
Victoria, British Columbia: http://www.tourismvictoria.com/

It shouldn't be hard to find somewhere great to go in Canada! : )

One thing to keep in mind is that some Provinces have a legal age of 19 so you may not be able to enjoy night life like you imagine.
I'd pick either coast, east or west. East, the Atlantic has a little more history and character in my opinion. I would check out Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Halifax etc. On the West, I would head to BC and enjoy Vancouver, Victoria and maybe head into the mountains to enjoy some hot springs!
It's hard to make a really good recommendation because I don't know your budget and how far you are willing to travel. 5 days is not enough to see everything that's worth seeing...but enough to get some good stuff in!
Check out the Grey Goose bus system as renting a car may be impossible (too young) and flying might be too costly!
Have fun.

British Columbia has the mountains, Pacific Ocean and O.K. nightlife. Toronto has cool nightlife, lots of things to see and do(Niagara Falls is near, C.N. Tower). Montreal has awesome nightlife, lots of cool history. Halifax has awesome nightlife, Atlantic Ocean, lots of cool history. These are only a few great places from one coast to the other. You are too young to drink in Canada, so your nightlife better not include bars; there are however lots of all-ages clubs with world-class d.j.'s . Weather will be a factor in May; it's not out of the question to have snow anywhere in Canada during May. Go to Tourism Canada websites to better research your future destination. Good Luck and I hope you guys love Canada as much as we do living here. Taxis, public transportation or car rental agencies are available everywhere.

Montreal.
there is a lot to visit, the best nightlife, drinking age is 18.
you can get around by bus or by metro. (its really is easy to get around the city.)
there's great shopping, no beach and mountains though, but there are a lot of outdoor activities.

actually there is a beach apparently, but i've never been.
