Big cities.
i would say Toronto, or Montreal.
Toronto has a large gay community, and the Pride parade in June is a MAJOUR event. all the Toronto businesses gear up for it, everything from chain hotels offering special "rainbow packages" to the bar & grill owned by a lesbian girl and her wife, its a big thing for the city. George Smitherman is a openly gay MPP who represents a district in Toronto in the provincial government, he used to be Minister of Health, but is now Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and Deputy Premier of Ontario (i think thats the second highest position someone can be in, in provincial government; Premier obviously being the highest position), and the Ontario Minister of Education is openly lesbian,
The gay village in Montreal is said to be the largest in the world. i've never been there, and dont know much about it, but im sure its nice. |

Generally speaking, most people are pretty open about different sexual preferences. However, small towns might still have a few "old fashioned" thinking people. The bigger cities will also offer a sub-culture of fellow Latinos. I would look at Vancouver or Toronto.
Calgary and Edmonton are not made up exclusively of "hicks and red-necks". Calgary has the youngest work force in Canada (last time I checked), so if you are young you might find it easier to 'get ahead' in Calgary as the executives and professionals are also younger (when compared to other cities).
And remember, gay marriage is legal in parts of Canada. I know for sure it is legal in British Columbia and Alberta -- I'm not sure which of the other provinces adopted the same law. |

Probably Toronto. They have that huge gay pride parade too lol. But my neighbors in Vancouver are gay and they never have any problems. Montreal is probably good too. |

Im not gay but I lived in Vancouver for 4 years and it is a great place to live. If you are worried about people treating you fairly that is also not a problem. Everyone is very open minded. Hope you have a fun time. |

Big cities are usually better, more activities and such. Try like Toronto, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Edmonton, etc. |
