fairmont banff springs is beautiful!! It has fantastic views and everything you could possibly want in a hotel!!

don't worry, banff is only little, you won't find anywhere stuck in a city unless you go as far away as Calgary..

The Rimrock is beautiful and has incredible views, etc.

If you want something out of town, in the mountains with an incredible spa, views, hiking, etc., you may want to think about the Delta at Kananaskis. It's not in Banff Park but close by. The spa there is FANTASTIC. :) The hotel is wonderful and the scenery is awesome. They have the regular hotel and then an adult only lodge as well.
