It really boils down to how these questions are answered;
1) what do you do? You will find most skilled jobs in the larger cities so you will be looking at Ontario, BC, Alberta and Quebec
2) do you speak french? you will be looking at Quebec and New Brunswick mostly but french is spoken in Ontario and Manitoba
3) do you want to live in an large urban area? you will be looking at Southern Ontario, Lower Mainland of BC, parts of Alberta and Western Quebec
4) do you want to live in a smaller city? then just about anywhere in the country.

I live and work in Ontario and I like it BUT I have lived & worked in Northern BC and loved it. I have also traveled on business to other provinces and found them great. In my case IF I was starting over again in my move to Canada I think that I'd give Halifax a go rather than Toronto as I did. Smaller city nice folks but that is my two pence worth.
BTW welcome to Canada and I hope you like it here!

It depends on your skills. If you can work in the oil industry, try Calgary, Alberta. Alberta has a job boom going on right now. Another place is British Columbia.

I'd say that BC is the best. Although I'm biased because that's where I'm from. It's very nice if you like mountains and the ocean...
If you like flat places... Saskatchewan is good.
I've heard that Ontario is nice too.
If you don't mind learning French, Quebec is quite beautiful.
Alberta has tons of jobs, and you only need to pay GST... there is no PST there.

you would probably want to start in a nice an small but big city like halifax. the house prices are great from $ 200.000 to $400.000 for a great house. its like a mini toronto. or if you want a smaller place try sydney cape breton . its smaller than halifax but its ok . the house prices are realy good from $100.000 to $300.000.

good luck

Best answer usually the simplest
Saskatchewan or Manitoba is best especially thru the winter.

Come to BC! Try the Vancouver or Victoria or Kelowna areas. Calgary AB would be a good place too I think, cheaper than Vancouver and they only have 1 tax because of the oil or something.

Definitely visit first and have a look around.
