If you go to Gibsons in Sunshine Coast---you can go to davis bay to go fishing--swimming---or jumping because there is a dockl there where you can jump down............just one thing xD The water in davis bay is cold xD Chaster Park has a beach and the water is warmer and you can go snorkling xD I saw a big group of minnows and a few big fish and some crabs |

Stanely Park and Grouse Mountain are not on Vancouver Island
There is a lot to do on the Island but it depends on where you are going. You can go whale watching (which is a blast).
Here is a website that has a whole list of wonderful things you can do. Places to see, things to do, etc. |

Whalewatching (there are regular tours leaving from Victoria) is something I can highly recommend.
Except for that, on my own recent trip I spent most of my time in Vancouver itself, so I don't really have any further suggestions for Vancouver Island. |

You should also ask your question in the "Victoria" section as it's the biggest city on Vancouver Island.
It's great! So much to do and the weather is gorgeous (today, anyway...)
Don't miss whale watching ...can be expensive but well worth it if you see them. Kayaking is easy to learn if you go with a guide and a great way to explore.
There are loads of great places to eat, drink and to just relax.
Have a great trip. |

British Columbia whether on the Island or mainland is pretty much the same as any other area of Canada or anywhere in N. A. Do what you want as long as it is legal. |

Not a lot. Mostly garden tours, a couple of castles, go whale watching and hope you see one. Very little in the way of nightlife. |
