Buckley's. How bad does it taste really?

I've had the flu for the last few day's and only now is it REALLY starting to annoy me. "Buckley's Cough Syrup" how bad does it taste honestly, and could anyone even maybe try to describe the taste? I'm getting desperate here.
Additional Details
Buckley's being a Canadian Company, I thought I'd have the best luck here!

Like other people have said, it is a combination of tastes. Pine oil (think Pinesol cleaner), turpentine, menthol, Vicks Vap-o-Rub, Pledge furniture polish, engine oil, 97 octane gasoline, jet fuel, skunk urine, and a dash of Frank's RedHot. Great stuff - and it really does work.

It does really taste bad. But you know it is cough supressant. So it's reallly only good for stopping that hacking, unstoppable cough. I think there might be new formulas for other cold/flu symptoms. But they're really known for the distasteful cough supressant.

It's like drinking a combination of Vick's vaporub, pine oil (which is in the ingredients, apparently), and oh, I don't know...gasoline? It's brutal. It's one of those things you do because you know it's going to work. You wouldn't do it, otherwise. It feels awful going down your throat, too. Kind of takes a minute to catch your breath.

(I have no drugs in my house at all. Not even aspirin. But I always have Buckley's on hand. When you get a cough that won't stop, nothing works better than Buckley's.)

Or an eucalipt

It tastes every bit as bad as the commercials say, but it works to help a cough better than anything else I've tried. That's all it does, though. It won't help flu feel better.

honestly; it tastes like turpentine. When you first take it in it literally takes your breath away. The concotion is actually a modification of an aboriginal remedy involving pine bark. They gave it to the first colonists who were afflicted with scurvy and other such ailments during their first winters here in the new world.
But it doesnt do much for flu but does stop coughs.

My wif swears by it.

Buckley's does nothing for the flu, but it is the best thing to take if you have a nagging cough. Describe the taste... hmm... it's like drinking turpentine and transmission fluid mixed together, with a hint of menthol and petroleum. Oooh, yum... Seriously, it is disgusting, but it works the best if you don't feel like hacking up a lung or two all day/night.

For your flu, try Robitussin Night Time Cough, Cold & Flu Relief (Liquid) or Vicks NyQuil (liquid capsules). Hope you are better soon!
