CANADIANS: Do you ever feel bad we get to live in such an awesome country? |
While others have to make do in places so desperately lacking in awesomeness?
I mean, maybe we should export it or something. Additional Details first l, you're wrong. Canada's not the only one, there's about 16 countries that have the Queen of England as their heads of state. Besides, if Canada does it, then it's awesome by definition. |

If 16 so-called "countries" have the Queen of England as their heads of state, then they are all just British pseudo-colonial territories. Your post does not refute the fact that Canada is not a real "country". All your post really says is that there are 15 other territories which have the same inferior status as Canada of not being independent states in the modern world.
Two cheers for Canada! There are 15 other places as pathetically subjugated by the British crown as you are in the modern world. LOL! |

In Canada we have a free medical system, welfare if we ever get in trouble , the charter of human rights and freedoms, here no matter what your colour or race , people will not ask you , where you from? it is assumed that all have the same right to live here . my history is kinda bad, but when Canada wanted to separate from the UK was there not a deal made that there would be no war if we kept the queen as our head of state? And actually i don't mind this because i am also entitled to have 2 embassies. If in a war situation and the Canadian embassy is not available the British embassy will also help me. I think that's cool. Do I ever feel bad? sometimes yes, only because many Canadians take it for granted what we have and still need to complain. Canada helped in setting up free democratic elections in many countries, including Russia. We try to set a good example. I see so many putting Canada down, why? Is there some jealousy , we are not jealous of any. We are a humble people. Peace all! |

yea its real "rad" "bodacious" even...what makes it especially "totally tubular" is the high crime, the highest suicide rate for a "civilized" country, or maybe its all the poverty that makes canada such a "stupendous" place....canada has such a poor image that they must sew AMERICAN flags onto their backpacks when they travel abroad!!!! keep up the good work canada |

I feel fortunate to live in Canada. It's an awesome place, and I feel really safe here. Whenever I come back to Canada I always feel relieved in a sense. For example, when I came back home from Italy and Greece, I was so happy just to be in Canada again when I landed in Toronto (and I'm not even from Toronto, I live in Winnipeg).
I was still just so relieved to be back in my home country. I wouldn't live anywhere else in the world.
OH and just to comment on biffnasty's answer, people don't sew American flags on backpacks. You sew Canadian flags on backpacks, and why is that? Because people like Canadians...except biffnasty of course. After all, terrorists don't attack Canada, do they? |

COUNTRY? what "country"? Canada is just a pseudo-colonial territory of Great Britain. In Canada's constitution, it clearly states that the queen of england is the highest leader of Canada. If the queen of england is the leader of canada, doesn't that make it a territory of Britain, and your people subjects of the queen?
Canada is the only place in the world that OFFICIALLY names the queen of england as its leader and still pretends that it is a separate nation. What a JOKE! |
