Can I drive into canada with an active bench warrant?

I want to go for less than 12 hours. Also, will I have trouble coming back into the US?

No, you can't come to Canada. You are criminally inadmissible if you have an outstanding warrant. Heightened security means Canada has greater access to US computer records and crossing the border either way is likely to have you arrested.

12 hours doesn't matter. Once you cross the border you are in and can do whatever. SO, the policy and process is the same with little regard to if you plan to stay 12 hours or 12 days.

NO! They check you police record..They will have you arrested..They run your license before you are allowed to cross.

Not unless you want new charges added on as well.

I doubt seriously that you can get out of the US.

I would say you are out of luck. They will run your driver's license at the very least and they will find the warrant and deny your admission...and well they should.

LOL you will probably be arrested as soon as you try to cross the border, Lex has no idea what she is talking about and has clearly never crossed the border in her life, just making up something so she can get her points.

Besides we dont want American criminals in Canada, the few who have gotten through have killed people and been a real pain in the ***.

Stay home, we dont want you here and you will be arrested at the border.

NO WAY
STAY WHERE YOU ARE

You may not have trouble coming to Canada but only because the border agents (at least in this area) are college students and tend to be pretty lax. You would have a HUGE problem coming back to the US and would probably be arrested on the scene.
