I'm disagreeing with everyone else. Canada will allow dual citizenship - nothing in their "vows" include renouncing any other country. I know of people who have kept their US citizenship and gotten Canadian citizenship. The US doesn't exactly like it, but it is possible.

if you OBTAIN Canadioan citizenship then you can keep the US one too. You can hold dual citizenship at one time. |
