Yes you can use an expired Passport, but also have a drivers license with you. A valid passport is not required until June 1/2009. They just extended the deadline. All of you that said 'no' are misinformed!!

Simple answer is no.
But if you are either an American or Canadian citizen going back to or from either country.
All that's required right now until Dec 31 / 2006 is valid photo ID.
EG: Drivers Licence would suffice.
Only applies to either USA or Canadians though. If not of that nationality, I'm not sure.
