Depends whether you have good legs. Lumps/vericose veins - forget it.

Webber
I don't know. Can you?

haha, couldn't resist.

It's summer. What do you think?

aiminhigh24u2
Summer is nice

Let me guess your an american, and many who have answered are also. Toronto is parallel to northern california. Its over 80 degress F almost everyday in summer and its very humid which ads to the heat. Good lord there is some stupid questions from Americans. They think as soon as you cross the border there is gonna be snow and igloos. You Americans are so ignorant!

Ha Ha Mug!!!

I'm American but just across the lake from Toronto! Dont think ALL of us are ignorant! Although we get the same thing from New York City folks -- they think that as soon as they cross over the Westchester county border we are all pasture and cows in addition to tundra-like weather. I used to get customers calling from NYC asking if we had snow yet in September!!!

Actually, Toronto can be warmer at times than we are here in Rochester. We get the cool weather driven south and cooled over Lake Ontario. By all means bring shorts, it's pretty warm June-September. But pack some long pants for evenings just in case.

Besides, Toronto is pretty sophisticated, and wearing shorts out to any night events will just look hokey, touristy, casual and unclassy. How about a casual short skirt? Cool during the day, but transitions to night events pretty well without having to go back to a hotel to change?

lol.. yeah of course the summer is nice and hot.

Isabelle
Nope. It is illegal. You will get a fine for that.

Summer is warm enough for shorts, it actually gets into the high 30's (celcius), so down right hot. It is actually entirely illegal to go topless in Toronto though, so you can leave the shirts at home.

As a rule of thumb always bring pants, it can get a little chilly down by the lake in the evening.

Ha ha! Good Q. Sure, but keep back-up pants in case. I live in Toronto, and yea the Weather is crazy,

I would say you could wear shorts, but have backup pants or something (like the girl said) because the weather likes having mood swings ie. bright sunny day and then hail the size of golf balls.

funkrockgirl
no. it's socially inacceptable. we shun those who do not don parkas and snow pants.

It's been really warm here for the past few days, I would say shorts. We've had some rain, but it doesn't really cool down that much.

Ajidamoon
No. I am sure you know that Canada is snowy year round, otherwise our igloos would melt...........

*complete sarcasm.........its 12:26 am and currently 20 degrees in TO. I would be wearing shorts right now...........
