I would like to know the same thing. I'm thinking of moving. I know you have to get a visa and can get a work visa until you decide if you want to become a resident. It is very interested and there is a process. I want to go so bad. I hate the US!!!

Nope. You are required to obtain a work permit in order to work legally in Canada.

Helena
You cannot just pick up and move to Canada.
First you will need a work visa and to apply for residency and then you may apply for citizenship.

Zoe Dot
Of course not. You need a passport, visa and so on. Canada is not open for all to come in and start working. YOu have to apply to Immigration Canada.

Kahlo
It would be like moving to any other country outside the US. You would need a work visa... and then eventually citizenship if you intended to stay.

HAPA CHIC
NO .Its the same a canadian citizen also can not pick up and move to the Stated either . You have to apply for resident status/work permits
BY the way Mimi if your are not native indian I'd like to inform you ...your from immigrants who came to Canada as well !
