Sure -- we've got loads of openings for political candidates, and you'll fit right in. |

Yes but it does depend on where in Canada you go. If you go to major cities and have no skills then it will be hard to get a job. If I were you I would either go to B.C or Alberta. In those provinces there are hostels that you can stay at for cheep and you do have a better chance of getting a job. In Alberta they are just craving people to work. There's too many jobs and not enough people to work them. McDonald's is paying people $14 an hour to work with NO experience. Good luck! |

there's a point system; you get more points for having sklls, having education, speaking French, being married, etc.
If you don't have a job lined up, they'll expect you to have a few grand to keep you going until you find work. |

Preferably not. We'd rather have people who will be useful and have lives.
You can't change a life if you don't already have one - we don't keep spares at the corner station!! |

You will be better off with job skills, most definitely.
Do either of you have relatives in Canada? That also would be a help.
If not, go to the webiste and read through everything, and then decide. You can always spend a couple of years where you live trying to improve whatever skills and other things, then apply.

If you are from the US, you might just pick up and move to another region of the country ... you could chang eyour lives that way quite a bit too. |

Go to the ski hills. Lots of fun, lots of work and you'll meet tons of people and get ideas for what you might like to do. |
