You might want to be a bit more specific! What kind of things do you want to know?

Populations?
Culture?
Economy?
Standards of living?
Things to do and see?
Holidays?
Government/Monachy?

The list could go on....

The UK and Canada still have some similarities, but these are disappearing fast. As Canada struggles to find its own identity, it is doing everything in its power to try and break the cultural ties to the UK, as well as block the cultural influences of the neighbouring USA. Plus with the wide variety of immigration sources into Canada over the last 40 years it really isn't Britain-light any longer. Canada, however, really doesn't know what it is just yet, and as it struggles to find an identity of its own it is naturally irritaiting the UK and the USA, as a teenager does to his parents as he struggles to find himself and his independence.

The first thing that comes to mind when I think about the UK & Canada is - that most of the Population of Canada - are ex pats - a lot of them Scottish.. and most of them benefit from having dual Nationality... so they come back to the UK to collect their UK benefits as well as free healthcare as well as coining it in in Canada..and they send their kids over to benefit from Scottish freebie education.

The UK and Canada was founded in 1162 by the Hapsburgs. After Canada was colonized the Austro-Hungarians, the promotional slogan, "Go East Young Man" was used to entice young Canadians to travel to the United Kingdon, or "Undiscovered United Kingdon" as it was known then, which was discovered in 1492. The population of the UK and Canada increased rapidly until World War I, when the territories began to drift apart on techtonic plates. By 1982, the UK was granted independence from Canada and today they are completely seperate countries, united by a single language, except in places where they are not.
