"Hi"...Actually you have no choice.....civilization is few and far between ( no places to really stop ) so "yep" you'll be driving at night, fortunately if you do break down the Bears are at least in hibernation and I'm being quite serious as that's always a concern !

Bring survival gear though not only for you but for your vehicle ,and again I'm not kidding...it's a serious trip in the middle of no where and there are spots where a cell phone won't work, so be prepared..thats all ! *S*

Once you get into Northeren B.C. you can take some needed rest stops ! *S*

"Merry Christmas" ! *(Michael C...)

Yes, but since it's winter, I wouldn't. You can't see the ice(or the moose) until it's too late.

mj_puce
Yes you can but no you shouldn't, if you mean now, at this time of year. We are having a cold snap in the Yukon and you might hit patches of fourty below or even colder. If you stop your car, you won't be able to start it again at that temperature, and if your car breaks down on a remote stretch of the highway, it might be hours until anyone finds you, and you will be frozen to death by then. If you're going to do this, bring a warm parka, a down sleeping bag, emergency supplies, and have chains on your tires or at least good winter tires NOT "all weather" ones, because the highways can get very icy. Watch out for moose is actually no joke in the North. A moose or Bison will roll and crush your vehicle if hit. I'm not kidding. Driving at night itself should not be a problem, but stay well within the speed limit and watch out for wildlife! Good luck...

If you mean that you're wondering if its LEGAL to drive at night in Canada, it is.

brittanykeddy
Yes, you can.

old lady
Of course. The roads aren't rolled up at night! If you are driving during the winter months, just as a precaution make sure you have good snow tires and you have an emergency kit in your car in case of a breakdown.

I donno if you can,everybody else does.LOL

Dead Day Afternoon
Sure you can, just make sure not to get too sleepy and watch your speed. Animals are attracted to the noise of the car and you don't want to run into a moose or bear at high speed, or at all.
Watch out for donut munchers too, they get bored at night and like to write tickets.

.
Yes, but only if you turn your headlights on!

Judy C
yes of course you can....just like you would in the states
