Laws are changing fast.
If you were born in the USA it is possible only if you do a Land boarder. Not flying or cruising. But check with the Canadian Govs web site it is safer. You must remeber too what do you need to get back into your country? |

us and Canadian customs will not accept copy's of documents originals only. it is also against the law in both country's to make copy's of your drivers licence and birth certificate. big fines or even jail could result |

If you are driving or coming by water; that will suffice...if the birth certificate is not a "copy" but the original.
If you are flying, you can get "into" Canada with that...but to return home to the USA you will need your passport. ("re-entry" to the USA is what that is called) That is why they will likely ask for a passport if you are flying here. |
