Of course you can. You will just need to retune the channels.

Highly unlikely, first the voltage like the other guy said and then the video standard, a GB telly is PAL and a Canadian is NTSL so you would not get a picture.

Most modern Tvs are Multi standard (since late 90's)

The Canadians use NTSC (like the US)

UK uses PAL.

As long as your TV is NTSC compatible - sometimes Automatically detected sometimes from the menu pages - then no problem.

As for Voltage again modern TVs (and appliances) auto sense the incoming power - check where the wire enters or your handbook for details.

Not unless it has a built in transformer. UK voltage is 220, Canadian is 110. "Step down" transformers are available but what with the shipping and the cost of the transformer it would be best to sell it and buy a new one in Canada.

The world is divided into three main television/video standards: NTSC, PAL and SECAM. Videos intended for the US or Canada are in the NTSC standard. The Germans invented the PAL video standard used in most of Europe, the UK, and Australia. Normal DVD players and VCRs only work with one system. There are multisystem machines available, but they cost more.
