If you're under 18 than yes. I wouldn't worry camp in Canada is really fun cause we know how to camp.

they are your parents, there is no get out of camp free type law that I know of. If you are 16 or older you can legally run away from home, if you were to leave sooner your parents could get in some pretty big trouble. Your parents can pretty much make you do anything within the confines of the law until you turn 18 and become an adult yourself.

So have you tried telling your parents that you don't want to go to camp and provided them with a viable alternative?

Uh, Yeah, it's lame. I wish my parents would have sent me anywhere, besides pawning me off on relatives in the summer. I still managed to have some fun. I did some things I never could have done at home. Overall it was a good experience, but at the time all I could see was that I wouldn't be hanging out with my friends. Sorry, you should just try to make the best of it.

i think so.

Hello
I guess they can but, if you're really that unhappy about going, speak to them about it and explain why you don't want to go. Good luck!
