Yes you can. I was 16 when I first experienced living on my own here in Canada. I strongly suggest that you hold a good job though, which can be hard if you stay in school, and staying in school IS important. I also need to tell you from experience that this is not as easy as it may sound to any 16 year old.

Yes you can, as long as you can pay your bills and such. I started living on my own when I was 15. So you gotta get a job that will pay for your place, and such. |

Yes you can. Unfortunately, you can't legally enter into contracts such as rents and credit. However, depending on how you feel about it, any contracts that you are able to enter, whether written or implied, are not enforceable by the person(s) holding the contract. against you because you're underage.And by law you do not have to attend school after 16 yrs. old. |

You cannot live in Canada by yourself.
There are thousands of other people in Canada.
To live in Canada by yourself you would have to evacuate all of the Canadians that are currently there. I don't understand why you need a whole country to yourself. |

Yes, you can. I had just turned 16 when I ran away from home. My mom called the cops, and they told her that because of my age, there was nothing they could do. (If I had of been under 16, they could've tried to help her). I did come home again, and moved out with a proper farewell at the age of 17. As for travelling, you can get a drivers license at 16, although there's a period you DO have to have an adult with you. But as far as I know, they can travel anywhere as long as they have the funds. (bus, train, etc.) |
