Yes, I'm an American visiting Canada right now. Just crossed the border last Friday.
They may start requiring a passport soon but the date keeps moving. Last I heard they'll start requiring a passport in January 2007. |

Yes, you can. The latest word is that you will be able to drive there until 2008 without a passport. If you fly, take a train or a boat, you'll need one in 2007. |
