Can you bring marijuana to Canada's Wonderland?

I worked as Security Access Control at the gates last season. Honestly, its hard to catch marijuana or any drugs because obviously that stuff doesn't sound off the metal detectors. If you set off the detector usually you'll be asked to empty out your pockets and step back out and walk through again. Once your clear (the detector does not ring) your able to collect your belongings and go into the park. If prohibited items are found they will be confiscated at front gate or they will ask you to return it your car (depending on the item). Oh, and all bags/purses must be searched while coming into the park! Part of park policy. So, like others said, if you can hide it somewhere no one will look you can get in with it, but why would you want to do that anyways? Smoke it up all you want outside the park, but its best not to bring it inside at all. As long as its not on you, then your allowed to go in (even if you smell like it).

Security only checks your bags so they wouldn't find it unless it was obvious.
If you don't intend on smoking it in the park why not just leave it in the car until you want it rather than risking getting caught with it by park security.
If you return to the park and security can smell it they could decide not to let you back in but I doubt they would.

Marijuana possession is a federal crime in Canada. While police in British Columbia's Lower Mainland generally turn a blind eye towards pot, in the rest of the country it is strictly enforced. So don't do it, or don't get caught.

Of course not. Possession is still against the law. Can you bring just a small amount of cocaine with you?

My sister used to work there and always smoked within the park. Chances are if you pick a good spot, then they won't catch you.

The security checks are very lax at Wonderland. Yes, if you slip the weed in you bra, you will have no issues upon your first entrance. When you re-enter, I honestly doubt they will care even if they do smell it on you. Just don't act weird, be cool, and everything will be fine. If you're really worried about your scent, then bring a small bottle of perfume or body spray and stick it in your purse or a pocket.

hah hah I am reading the answers and it makes me laugh... Canada's Wonderland security is not going to read yahoo answers to catch pot heads... they have better things to do and to care about. As for the strictly enforcing police officers... I have yet to meet one who has brought someone in because they smoked a joint... they are spending their time making sure that people don't get shot, robbed or killed. Not if they are going to the corner store at 2 am because someone has the munchies...
