If you are illegal in the United States, how do you plan on going back after you've been to Canada? And if you don't plan on going back, are you planning to become illegal in Canada as well?

Are you living in the US illegally? When entering Canada, they will want to see proper papers/ID, and they're going to ask where you're from.

When you get to the border, you will be asked a series of questions. These generally start with the following:
1) Where are you coming from? This is to establish your nationality or permanent resident status. They coordinate this with the information on your passport.
2) Where are you going? This establishes what part of the country you plan to go to.
3) What is your reason for coming to Canada? This is to find out if you are visiting, or if you are going to try and do business here or try to come in to live illegally here.
4) How long will you be staying? This is to try and figure out if you will be staying for an extended period and may need to get special forms for a stay of longer than six months.
You may also be asked these questions:
5) Are you bringing in any alcohol or tobacco?
6) Have you been to a farm or around livestock recently?
7) Have you been convicted of any crimes in the last 5 years?
8) Do you have any drugs or firearms in your posession?
Of course, if you are illegally in the USA, then you may have an issue getting back into the States if you have no passport or it is not a US passport. Since USA is not legally your home country, they could refuse you entry. Then what would you do?

Well, you can try, but if you are caught it and you'll be jailed and then deported. And you will deserve it.

If you had your passport I could see getting in. But there is no way you could get back to the states.
