GOOD GRIEF.....excuse me for yelling BUT I CAN"T BELIEVE SOME OF THESE ANSWERS ! ......Unbelievable *lol*

You do not need a passport to fly wholly within Canada ! It's always wise however in these global times to carry I.D.

To those of you that say a citizen from the U.S needs one that's simply nonsense....any visitor to Canada flying within Canada has already been through Canada Customs......and there is NO Customs on domestic flights !

Come on people think !!!!!!!!! *LOL*

Glad to help ! *S* (Michael C...)

Yes you only need a ID

kiki151
I think all you need is a form of identity like drivers licence.

I'll echo Michael's "good grief" for the same reason. Why do people answer when they don't actually know? Whatever country you're a citizen of, you don't need a passport to fly within Canada. A passport is for when you cross NATIONAL borders. Even the US doesn't require you to show a passport to fly once you're inside the country. Picture ID, yes, you should have that. The airlines like to make sure that the person getting on the plane is the same person who bought the ticket.

Yes you can if your a Canadian.

If you are Canadian, you can fly anywhere in Canada you wish, without a passport. You may be asked for some picture ID - such as a driver's license, but that isn't always required either.

As long as you are a resident of Canada and can so prove, then the answer is yes you can fly within Canada without a passport. You will need government issued id though, preferably with a photograph.

Aliz
If you live in Canada then you can, but if you are a US resident then you can get a passport that is good in Canada and Mexico only.
A full passport will let you travel anywhere except countries that are banned by the State Department.
