i would bring a note from your parents. My friend and I always go over to Buffalo together and she always brings a note just in case. It's better to be safe than sorry. Hope you have fun in Canada:)!

One of the adults needs to be responsible for you. They need written notarized permission from both parents to take you to Canada. And you need ID.

Well, I don't know when it takes effect it may have already. Bring your passport just in case. If you are 17 it shouldn't be a problem, but to be sure just go to immigration Canada to be sure

i believe you can go across as long as you have your passport/birth certificate, but better be safe then sorry

you can go across but they won't let you in the casinos or bars or clubs.
