you can use USA stamps to mail to any country in the world but there may be a difference in what it costs depending on the company

TONY S
Canada requires extra postage. You are better off going to the post office and having it metered or something.

You can, but you have to make sure you have the correct amount of postage, as international mail costs more than domestic. Here's the USPS calculator to help you figure out how much it's going to cost: http://postcalc.usps.gov/

I just go to the post office and if its a package they just stamp it like a normal package. So I guess a letter to Canada could be the same but its probably more than the normal 41cents.. check ww.usps.com and then international postage.

rob2587
i would assume it would be considered international mail, but i am not sure, ask your local post office

Canada is just like anyother international country your sending to ! YOu just pay a bit extra postage because of this ...but because it is in North America it is still less postage then overseas(out of continent )

angels_angelsarehere
Yes The rate is higher, check with your local post office.
It will also depend on where in Canada you send it.

More than likely, a US stamp @ 41cents should be fine. But, it would be best that you go to your local post office to be certain. It really stinks when you mail something and, it gets returned back to you because of "insufficient" postage. I hope that this helps.

Yeah, it takes 3 stamps to get a letter to Canada. If you take it to the post office, they can charge you the exact amount so you avoid overpaying becuase it acutally costs about 80 and some odd cents now.

as Canada is NOT a part of the US you will need a different stamp
