Get out at Union and walk south to the Harbourfront. There is a lot of things to do there that won't cost you much if anything. If you have roller blades you can bring them along and roller blade on the trails around there too; the trail goes from Harbourfront for miles west and most of the trail is really scenic.

Go to the Ontario Science centre - they are having a gathering of some of the most famous people on youtube. It starts at 12 and runs until 6 at night. It looks like a lot of fun.

you can visit the CN Tower, it is a little pricey. but you can also check the bata shoe mueum and the chinese lantern festival in ontario place, but im not sure how much the admission costs for ontario place.i think toronto also has alot of outdoor events going on, during that weekend. you can try checking their website ,or googling toronto events
