Canada and Quebec question?

At bottom of this page is displayed the flags of Canada and Quebec, anyone know why Quebec is being displayed seperately from Canada, and should Scotland,England,Ireland and Wales have their own seperate flags displayed?I'm just being curious as to why there are seperate flags

The display of the Quebec flag is a political statement. Whoever designed the page must believe in separation for Quebec. Doubtless if he or she were a Scottish nationalist the Scots flag would be displayed.

I just clicked on the Quebec Flag and it brought me to a French page. I'm assuming that because in Canada we have two official languages, Yahoo needed to build a page that the French speaking population in Canada (most reside in Quebec) could go to to ask their questions.

?
Because some Quebecers like to fanatsize that they are already separated from Canada. All the while using Canadian money to support their fantasy.

SPACEBOY
Sensitive topic...most Quebecois think they are a seperate state...or at least want to be. I'm not sure that the rest of the world recognized them that way, but in Canada it is common to see both flags everywhere.
Remember, for years there has been talk of going there own way- referendum have come up. I doubt it will happen, but it is a thought many have.

Rob
It's because they speak French in Quebec

It is separate because Québecois French is in many ways different from the French written in France.
