Actually, I hear a lot of talk about that being a good thing! Where I live, everything is booming but there are just not enough people to do the jobs! This is causing a lot of problems and slowing down the progress of many projects, housing starts, and others.
Believe me, if it was easy, people of Mexico would have already been welcomed to come and work in Canada, especially Alberta! |

Mexicans are doing the jobs that lazy Americans wont do and rather sit and live off the government I am a hard working white American male and have hundreds of Mexicans working with me and other than their lack of English they are awesome workers |

Unlike the US, we welcome immigrants of all backgrounds to Canada. It is one of the fundamental differences between Canada and the US. In Canada, we prefer to think of our society as a salad bowl, versus the melting pot.
Man, it would suck to be an American at this time. Democracy is failing you (wire taps etc), Capitalism is failing you (Enron, Worldcom) and now the Melting Pot is failing you.
Maybe you should move to Canada too! |

I don't see the problem. I grew up with Mexicans as did my family. I believe you have not met many Mexicans in person because if you had, you would not be posting such a question.
By the way, not all Mexicans do work Americans won't.
Don't forget that the US is made up of people from other countries. It's always been that way; you should be used to it by now. |
